Hello. I want to use date range menu type options but for module. Is there a module with same functionality? Or the way to put this functionality directly in a material?
I just need to show several materials which contents list fo events (from one category) and simple discription.

You have a couple of options.

1. Use Joomla addons that allows you to display a component in a module or content plugin
2. Use the timelimit plugin (silver member addon) and use it to specify the dates you want within the latest events module

The link in admin panel: http://volfilarmonia.ru/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&;view=item&layout=edit&id=624
How to insert this into material?

I made what I wanted using this way:
1)I create menu item with type date range and set some options
2)This content I can get using link index.php?Itemid={menuid}, or using alias
3)I create module with type HTML and wtire description for my menu item.
4)using advanced module manager i set appearence of this module only on this page(which I created as date range) and set position before jevents content.
5)Create material with link on this menu item.
PROFIT!
Its rather difficult, but it works!

Yes its tricky to do I'm afraid since you are putting a square peg in a round hole in terms of what Joomla expects.
