I have been using JEvents with Joomla 3 for a very long time. An event that was created with JEvents was kind of a normal Joomla article, especially the description field. I could enter text, images and shortcodes like

{gallery}myfolder{/gallery} (Sigplus image gallery)
[forms ID=nn] (Registration form by Baforms component)

With JEvents and Joomla 4, it is not anymore possible to enter shortcodes. The corresponding buttons underneath the text area are missing. If you type the shortcode manually, it works. But knowing the id by heart is impossible.

Thank you and kind regards
Chris

Have you enabled editor buttons on the event editing tab of the JEvents config?

Oh my ... I was not aware of the existence of such an option. You are right: switching this option to «Yes» makes these buttons visible.

Thank you very much and kind regards
Chris
