Hi,

A few years ago I made use of “JEVENTS” on one of my websites. Today, everything with “JEVENTS” has been deleted from this page, but I can not figure out why I still get queries with errors on this page.

/http://index.php/component/jevents/year.listevents/2015/07/07/71?Itemid=0" 301
/http://index.php/component/jevents/year.listevents/2015/07/06/87?Itemid=1" 404

Do you have a Jevents module still in the system?

No, everything about “Jevents” has been deleted from the site, also from mysql.

Something must still be there or the browser would not be requesting it. I suggest you right click on the page and view source. Then do a search for JEvents in the source. That may give you the clues you need.

You are getting the 404's because people are still trying to access the website.

I would suggest you implement a 301 for all JEvents URLS to go to the homepage or similar.

Thanks
Tony
