I troubleshot this for a while, but could not locate how to define the property properly. I am recieving the following error in iCal Subscriptions after setting up a subscription. The actual import process is working fine and the events display without a hitch, but the Title is not working in the iCal Subscriptions page, instead I get:

Notice: Undefined property: category in .../administrator/components/com_events/admin.events.html.php on line 1552

The code is:
<td width="10%" align="center"><?php echo $row->category; ?></td>

If you edit the calendar is the category visible there?

Yes I can see them, I can also see it on the calendar itself and in the events themselves... it is just not working in the ICal Subscriptions

I checked two places:

Component>Manage iCal Events and I see this:
<!-- ia1 -->manageevents.jpg<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:2s8e1bro]

I also checked on the FrontEnd, under Add Event and I can also see it in the drop down:
<!-- ia0 -->editcalfrontent.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:2s8e1bro]

Did you mean somewhere else or was this what you were talking about?

That is exactly what I wanted to know - so it looks as though the category is recorded but just not working for the list. Is that correct?

Can you tell me a little about your setup php version, Web server etc.

I was the one who posted the other UTF-8 bug issue... HostGator is running PHP v4.4.4 and is updating to v5 this week. The problem is that if you are building a test site it will not work properly without propagation. For example, I am developing a site on IP, not domain name, and they are telling me that PHP5 called from .htaccess will not function unless propagation has occurred.
