Resolved [SOLVED] Unable to write in the admin email address

Hi,

I am new to Joomla, and JEvents Calendar. I installed Joomla! version 1.5.2 Production/Stable [ Woi ] 22-March-2008 22:00 GMT with legacy mode enabled, and I installed JEvents version 1.4.2. (though the patch I manually installed because it was missing an installer xml file). I get this weird bug where I try to save the changes in the Components->Events->Configuration. And the page stalls, I then press refresh in IE 7.0.6.x the page reloads saying that the changes are complete but after that it displays "Go to EVENTS CONFIG SECTION first and change EMAIL adress" repeatedly down the screen 25+ times. I read through the forum and didn't find anything about this issue.

I tried it without the patch and with the patch and it gives the same results. Is there a solution? Thanks in advance.

Here's some of the specs of the webserver:

PHP 5.2.5
Apache 2.2.8
Joomla 1.5.2
JEvents 1.4.2
Add an event for manager

You should use 1.4.3 with Joomla 1.5 - it fixes various problems 1.4.2 encounters in Joomla 1.5

Thanks Geraint!

It fixed the issue. I wasn't sure of using 1.4.3 because of it's beta standing.
