Hello,

I am using Joomla 1.52 and have installed jevents 1.5alpha. Everything installs fine, I see the calendar on the side of the site as I should. If I click to see the specific events I get the follow error, with the event info at the end of it.

Warning: cannot yet handle MBCS in html_entity_decode()! in /home/content/t/k/d/tkdman99/html/pw/components/com_events/events.html.php on line 268

Any ideas?

Then omit the 3rd parameter since it is a default:
. utf8_encode(@html_entity_decode($version->getLongCopyright(), ENT_COMPAT)) . ', '

I changed the code as shown here. Now I do see the calendar, but when I go to enter an event, I get this:

Table 'dengler_denglerjoomla.jos_jevents_vevent' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT count(*) FROM (jos_jevents_vevent AS ev , jos_jevents_icsfile as icsf ) LEFT JOIN jos_jevents_rrule as rr ON rr.eventid = ev.ev_id WHERE icsf.ics_id = ev.icsid AND icsf.state=1

Table 'dengler_denglerjoomla.jos_jevents_vevent' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT ev.*, ev.state as evstate, detail.*, g.name AS _groupname , rr.rr_id, rr.freq,rr.rinterval ,MAX(rpt.endrepeat) as endrepeat ,MIN(rpt.startrepeat) as startrepeat FROM (jos_jevents_vevent as ev , jos_jevents_icsfile as icsf ) LEFT JOIN jos_jevents_vevdetail as detail ON ev.detail_id=detail.evdet_id LEFT JOIN jos_jevents_rrule as rr ON rr.eventid = ev.ev_id LEFT JOIN jos_jevents_repetition as rpt ON rpt.eventid = ev.ev_id LEFT JOIN jos_groups AS g ON g.id = ev.access WHERE icsf.ics_id = ev.icsid AND icsf.state=1 GROUP BY rpt.eventid LIMIT 0, 10

How do I fix it?

thanks.

Well, I found if I entered the events in the "manage events" in the legacy section, it worked. Is that bad?
