Hi,
Have just installed the Jevents 2 on my website but would like some help. I have configured the components side, created a new cat and event.
1. The event will not keep the new category i created, keeps going back to the default.
2. One the website the calender shows the current month only. How do you get it to show the scroll arrows at the side to go to or back to the next month?
3. Is there any general documentation on how to fully use this excellent app? I see so much benifit from this, better than any other I have checked, but would love some config documentation to get the best from it.

Hello,

1. How does it not keep the category? Can you explain a bit better? i.e. does it happen when save the event it still goes to the default category?

2. You need to enabled the Header within the jevents configuration 'Use new Icon Navigation bar'

Sorry for late reply. Have been playing and have now sorted the Calender out.

I still have one small issue and that is when I hoover on and event in the calender, I want the popup to appear, but nothing happens. Nay advise welcome.

did you enable joomla tooltips in the month calendar tab of jevents config?

If you did then your template css may be hiding them

These are the settings in the Config for JEvents.

Any ideas?

Settings belongs to the tooltip window in monthly view
Enable Calendar popup tooltips Yes
Tooltip Type? Joomla
(Overlib is other option)
Same background as event Yes
Horizontal Position Center
Vertical Position Below
Shadow No
Left No
Above No

I changed the Tooltip Type to Overlib and it now works OK.
