Resolved security settings in events latest

OK - I'm on a roll here so here's another funny one I haven't got to the bottom of yet.

I have a few events in different categories and one category is assigned 'SPECIAL' access level. This is in a 'special' access calendar (iCal) with a special access event.

As expected neither event is visible from a 'public' user. However when I log in with a user with 'registered' access they can see both events under the mod_events_latest and mod_events_cal modules. (only a user with 'special access' should be able to see the events.

This is indeed a bug.

The variable to test against for access rights in the user object changed from gid to aid and we didn't update the code to reflect this. This affects quite a few files so I can't set out the fixes here.

We are currently updating the language handling to bring it into line with Joomla 1.5 - once this is complete I'll commit the fixes to Subversion.
