Hi there

I have been endeavouring to remove the > and >> and < and << markers on the calendar header module but can't seem to fnd the script to strip them out. I just want it to show the month/year and I also want to change the look of it by adding my own graphics.

Thanks for any and all help.

It's being tested on http://smogchat.com/index.php

Cheers,

Neil

You could hide them with CSS e.g.

div.ev_navigation td {
visibility:hidden;
}
div.ev_navigation td.iconic_td {
visibility:visible;
}

or something similar.

Also see http://www.jevents.net/content/view/27/14/lang,en_GB/ for suggestions

Hi Geraint and thanks for getting back to me. Ok, I added those changes to the CSS within the main Joomla CCS, template.css where I have moved all of the styles for the Calendar Module to but the <, >, << and >>'s are still there. <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->

I've obviously missed the plot here. ;)

Perhaps I have to add it to one of the other CSS files?

Cheers,

Neil

Use the Firefox DOM Inspector or similar tool to isolate the elements and style values you need to change.

... to but the <, >, << and >>'s are still there. <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->

Check the module parameter settings. There are settings to disable the month and year navigation.

You're a genius and a star, Thomas! <!-- s8-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8-)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8-) -->

Whereas I am thick and stupid. :oops:

Cheers for your help!
