Hi, I've asked this question before but had no response.
Hopefuly someone can help me, please :)

I have been editing events.html.php as I don't need all the features that are in it. I've basically pared it down to just the forward and back arrows.

My problem is that I want to put the current date (when viewing today) or the current month (when viewing a different month) into the table that comprises the navigation. Please see my attached image to understand what I mean.

I know nothing about PHP but I've been brave and tried to move stuff but I can't be doing it right and I'm stuck. Is this possible or should I give up and accept to have the date/month where it is originally?

Hoping to get lucky on a reply this time!

It is possible but it is custom development for a single site - so you may need to pay someone to make the changes for you.

Thanks Geraint,

Is this something you could do for me?
How much would it cost?

Thanks,

Ollie

*EDIT* to be honest I'd probably be happy if I could just move the fieldset that the day/date is in to the center so it's below the arows. I've tried to style it in the CSS using text-align, margin auto etc etc and also to <center> it in the PHP but neither works. Is there a reason why it won't move? All I can seem to do is add padding to the left to move it over but this isn't ideal.

Any ideas?

If you have a fixed width template you could add
.ev_fieldset {
margin-left:200px;
}
or something similar to your style sheet
