Resolved need help understanding the report bot

Does the report bot create the content item?

I may enter an event in January for an event in June and the report may not get written until July.

I dont see the use of the bot unless it creates the content item in joomla after the event date.

Am I missing something about how to use this bot?

The event report bot can create 2 content items - one is an "agenda" that is available before the event takes place and the event report is one that is available after the event takes place.

What url do I use?

Do I have to create the content first and then link to it.

I must admit I never have tried to use the bot, because I didnt like the idea of having to create the content maybe a year in advance.

Looks like you would just tell the bot what section and category you want the report in and it would create the content report there at the correct time after the event using the event description text with a link back to the calendar event.

Maybe it does this and I just dont get it?
