Can you confirm which version of Joomla! You are using? Also please confirm what is shown on the white page when you enable Joomla! Maximum Error Reporting and debug mode.

Thank you for responding.

I made a fresh Joomla 4 installation and then installed Jevents. Then I imported an iCal file from a calendar from a live website and that went fine. I can see the events and all the categories were imported as well. Cool.
Then I tried to make a new event and this I cannot do.

Another site where I am testing Jevents with joomla 4 is the site below. This site is a copy of a live site which has been successfully upgraded to Joomla 4. It has not had Jevents before but, as a test-site, I thought to try Jevents, so I made a fresh install of jevents. Here the problems are different. I cannot make a new calendar, and I cannot enter into the management of categories, but I can make an event(!).

I added site logins in the private description field.

is there already a solution to the problem?
In JEvents 3.6.15 on Joomla 3.10.3 It is not possible to create events on the frontend. Nothing happens!
It shows me "javascript:jevModalNoHeader('myEditModal','/http://index.php/calendar/icalevent_edit/xxxxx).
How can i fix that?

Nothing is shown on the white page with error repporting set to max. Should the create/edit screen have been shown in a modal? Maybe that is the problem ?

Can you right click the page and inspect? What do you see in the console when clicking?

Hmmm: "Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined"

I have the same problem as Hans_Christian. I think this is because something is wrong with the date format. (see picture). If you enter a valid date, the event can be saved. But if I want to change date later, invalid date appears again

So that is trying to call jQuery somewhere. I suspect you have something out of the current test scope.

I have the same issue with JEvents 3.6.15 on Joomla 4.0.2. It is not possible to create or edit events on the frontend. Nothing happens when clicking the edit icon when an event is displayed or when clicking on the "Save" button when creating a new event. The browser console shows several error messages "Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined" relating to files in the path "/components/com_jevents/assets/js/"

Should JEvents work on Joomla 4? Is this a known problem so far?

Ahh sorry - the user was blocked - now you should have access.

This is a PHP 8 issue and will be resolve in the next release due tomorrow.

I just updated to the most recent version of JEvents which is 3.6.21, but still having this issue when trying to edit an event at the frontend:

The problem that is still there is that the edit icon on an event detail page (frontend) does not work. The link says: javascript:jevIdPopup('action_dialogJQ96'); but it does nothing ???

Sorry, just taking some time working on the J4 revisions following the latest J4 changes. The next update should have this resolved.
