what is the images tab for?!.. when configuring events?
it seems to make no diference when i add images using this tab...

i allways add my images inside the event description wysiwyg content as code
but i was hoping the tooltip would display the image i choose when the mouse rollsover the event calendar.

that would be ideal, i use dot net nuke in my windows servers and the dnn events calendar is similar to jevents.
the image preview on the tooltip rollover is a standard feature.

On this ... what was the solution?
whether i edit the HTML directly or use WYSIWIG to add image with URL, both just add junk characters:

<img src="../%22../%22http://http://www.blackbigs.com/events/images/perfect_fridays_eflyer500.jpg/%22/%22"; border="\"\\\"" width="\"\\\"" height="\"\\\"" />HELPhttp://http://www.blackbigs.com/events/images/perfect_fridays_eflyer500.jpg <br /><br /><img src="../%22http://http://www.blackbigs.com/events/images/perfect_fridays_eflyer500.jpg/%22"; border="\"0\"" />

I don't have this issue in other components either,
Thanks!

PS.. my GPC is ON.

No matter what Wysiwig I use, (even if I insert the image manually as html) my pictures always come up as below:

Dit kan alleen in Groenendijk.</p>
<p style="\"><strong><img style="\" title="\"img_9514.jpg\"" src="\" alt="\"img_9514.jpg\"" width="\"309\"" height="\"195\"" /></strong></p>
<p><strong></strong></p>
This only happens when editing events in JEvents. All other article editing modules, components or plugins work correctly, so I assume it has something to do with JEvents.

Any ideas?

The images tab is really related to Joomla 1.0.x where there is a plugin for displaying images. This is not relevant in Joomla 1.5.1. You should insert images into the description using the wysiwyg editor or the "add image" link under the editor.
