Resolved Joomla 1.0.15 and installing modules

Hi,

I have successfully installed and configured JEvents on 1.0.15. I am very happy with it so far. However, I am not able to install any of the accompanying modules or mambots, eg latest events and the search mambot.

I get a message, cannot find XML file in set-up when I try to install. I often get this error when trying to install new modules,components etc but as JEvents installed to begin with I wonder if there is a compatability issue with Joomla 1.0.15?

Any ideas or experiences anyone?

Where did you get your modules from (i.e. where did you download them from?).

This is not a known problem and certainly not a 1.0.15 compatability problem.

Thanks for the reply. It's helpful to know its not a known problem as this narrows it down to the way the server is set up.

The modules have been downloaded from Forge, but what is weird is that the component installs fine but not the modules.

I will get on to my hosts and see what we can work out.
