Resolved JEvents v2.1.14 Very SLOW Performance

I am running Jevents 2.1 under J! Version 1.5.25
My site - http:|woodlandsevents.com loads quickly but the event calendar is very slow to load - approx 15 seconds.
I've updated the Jevents module to v2.1.14 Stable and have added the language override and mootools upgrade. It was running just as slow before on Jevents 2.0.
How can I fix this performance issue?

I was considering signing up for the club but getting an install that appears to be crippled doesn't give my much confidence.

I find it hard to believe your install is crippled.. There are various options you can select which slow it down.

Did you enable the Joomla cache? And the cache within JEvents?

You don't have many events so this page should load quickly even on a cheap hosting account.
