Hello Jeventers.

I'm having an issue with a website using Jevents module to display sporting events. I have three modules to display three different calendars modules, each for a different sport : soccer, basketball and rugby.

I used gmaccess to limit access to these calendars, so soccer members can only see soccer calendar, basketball members only basket calendar, etc.

Everything worked well until i recently checked the navigation arrows of the module (to go one month/year back/forward).
They don't work if the module display is restricted with gmaccess.
An error message pops up, saying "Bad mod Id".

If i remove gmaccess restrictions, arrows work back well.

Any help would be appreciated.
I've found nothing about this error, either on thoses fora, either on google.

Thank you :)

PS : Sorry about my creepy english. I didn't practice it for years!

For infos :
Joomla 1.5.22
Jevents 1.5.4

I've not heard of gmaccess - how does it work?

Hello Geraint, and thank you for your interest.
GMaccess is an ACL plugin/hack, which allow you to add new access groups (other than public, members, special).

This is particulary useful with the kind of website i'm working on, since there actually are three different kinds of normal members (soccer, basketball, rugby), each of them having access to their own menus/modules.

Unfortunately, for an odd and mystical reason, Jevent module goes crazy when i get it accessible by gmaccess groups instead of classical groups (soccer-basket-rugby / public-members-special).

To let people know, i didn't find any convenient solution to this dilemna.
So, i'll manually retire the "<<" and ">>" links from the module, and add a text link to the big calendar.
This is a shame, but i can't find any other option.
GMAccess creators didn't answer either.
