I installed jevents, created the "JEvents - Latest Events Module" which I publish on the homepage of the intranet site. I noticed that when I create a new event and set an end date and time, it remains visible even after the deadline, it disappears from view only after many hours.
is there a solution to this problem?
thank you
Valter

Hello Valter,

If the event has finished it should be hidden straight away. If it is not hiding, can you ask your host to check the servers tiimezone?

Many thanks
Tony

is there a file where there are all the settings to be checked, for example a "config.ini" file?
I'm doing tests on another identical machine (same software versions) and here everything works, in the machine in "production" it doesn't work
I am comparing all the Jevents settings but they are the same between the two machines, the profiles of the users are also the same, I just can't understand where the problem lies ..
by now I have removed and installed Jevents several times but the problem is not solved

settings are save in the database you can do an export and compare (or delete the tables if you want a clean install)

Are the events also exactly the same the same on both environments?
Because some display modes will show old events depending on max events and number of days set.

edit: caching on the webserver site, caching proxy in production?

Is the behaviour different if you are logged in?

At Tony said - it could be down to timezones. What timezone settings do you have in JEvents? What timezone is set in your Server/Joomla?
