Resolved Installation fails (Joomla 4.0.0-rc4)

Hello,

I just tried to install this extension on a fresh Joomla 4.0.0-rc4 installation. But I get the following error message:
42601, 7, ERROR: syntax error at or near "FROM" LINE 1: SHOW COLUMNS FROM pbh9s_jevents_vevent ^


Database system is PostgreSQL 11.

Is this a known problem? Since I'm quite new to Joomla, maybe you can give me a hint how I can get more log information about this issue…

Hello Martin,

This sounds like a PostgreSQL compatibility error, we tend to test with mariadb and mysql.

Could we please get access via FTP to your installation so we can review?

For security reasons I would like to avoid this (sorry). I would gladly help in other ways. The error should also be directly reproducible with a basic installation.
