Resolved iCal Auto Update User Calendars

As an FYI, I am not an experienced computer person. I had a Joomla (version 2.5.14) website set up for me that includes a Jevents (version 3.1.7) calendar in it. I have been updating the website for the last few years. It is used for a volleyball club. I would like the ability to allow our club members to be able to download the calendar into their personal calendars and receive updates as I change and add events. I was able to set up the iCal export and it actually updates my Google calendar on my iPhone, but if I change a time or add a new event, it does not automatically update. Is there a way to add this functionality such as an "Add to Google Calendar" button? Thank you for any help you can provide!

Hello,

Welcome to JEvents!

Firstly you need to update Joomla! to V 2.5.28 immediately you are at a high security threat.

If you generated the iCal Export then the Add to Google option should already be there, check the menu item configuration to make sure it set to show. If you don't have the option then your JEvents Version is too old and it's only in the newer versions.

Failing that, when you generate the ical download, you can right click and copy url. Then add this to your phone or Google calendar and it should auto sync then.
