Resolved I can't get the "See By Categories" tab to work correctly

I am having trouble with the see by categories tab. When I click on it, it goes to the categories screen and all my categories are there in the drop-down tab, but when I click on any of them, it just refreshes my page and doesn't show those events from the category I chose. any suggestions?
