Resolved Help with installation

My installation is failing, and I get the message "Another component is already using directory: "/home/cope/public_html/components/com_events/" "

I previously had another calendar component installed, but uninstalled it. What can I do to get Jevents up and running?

If you are sure you have deinstalled the "Another component..." remove the directory by hand. I hope you know what you do.
