Hello,

I'm using Joomla! 1.5.2 and JEvents 1.5alpha (Browser: Firefox 2.0.0.13 on Windows XP)

I installed the component, made sure the config file was writable, and went to the backend to change the e-mail address (following install instructions). When I click on Save I get this error:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

This is the only component that gives me this error. I can add/save categories fine, but when trying to save from any of the tabs on the config I get the error. I double-checked the rights to the config file (chmod) and they are set correctly and the back-end config says the file is Writable (and is in green).

Has anyone else had a similar issue that knows anything else to try?

Thanks.

Chris.

Do you have legacy mode enabled?
What version of PHP?
What is the URL in the address bar when you get the error?

Update: Noticed this is happening when I press any of the nav keys within JEvents on the Config page (Save/Close/CPanel). This only happens on the Config page.. it works fine when managing Categories, etc.

1) Legacy Mode is enabled (need it to run Fireboard 1.0.4)

2) PHP version is: 5.2.4

3) URL before error:
.../administrator/index2.php?option=com_events&task=conf
URL with error:
.../administrator/index2.php

Thanks.
