Hi there,

I have just installed JEvents 1.5 to Joomla 1.5. I have changed everything to ical and have only created ical events. I am getting some very funny display errors. Please see attached screenshot. Here are the problems:

Firstly, the event I created I entered as a repeating event, repeating every week. It appeared in the calendar for every day.

Secondly, you can see in the screenshot how the event had duplicated itself every week. So week one, there in one instance of the event. Week two, the event is listed twice every day and so on. By week 10, the event is listed on the same day 10 times!! Crazy!

Thirdly, I have now deleted this event and it is still showing up some how. The original event and the repeating events were deleted. I can't figure out where this is coming from.

Thanks,

Hannah

This looks very strange.

It looks as though you managed to set the end date before the start date - not sure how this was possible.

Can you describe your setup (php version, webserver, db version) and exactly how you created the event?

PHP version: 5.1.6

Apache version: 2.2.3

mySQL version: 5.0.22

I created the event, first giving it an end date 3 or 4 months after the start date. Then I changed the repeating parameters to once a week. Then I changed the end date to the same day as the start date but by then the event was repeating madly, every day and incrementally more for each day. However, in the latest events module the event only displayed once per day. I have now deleted the event and all the repeats that were created but somehow it is still there.
