I'm new to Joomla and JEvents.

I have loaded it on a localhost (English) and a live site(French)and I get the same result.

Joomla! 1.5.1 and JEvents 1.4.3 SVN

The first column is half the size of the hole calendar. ???

A CSS problem. Read http://www.jevents.net/content/view/27/14/lang,en_GB/ and try a tool like Firefox DOM inspector to find the problem style settings.
