Hello, in the new version of jevents 3.6, the extra info field is missing.
Impossible to update events because the extra information are missing.
Could you update ?

picasso Your issue should have been resolved in version 3.6.2 - or you could install the version in my previous reply (just above here)

Hello.
Could you please help me?
After the update, the "Save" and "Save & Close" buttons on FrontPage stopped working, so you cannot add events...

There appears to be some javascript errors on your event editing page from your template or module on the page
jserrors.png
If you load the page with ?tmpl=component at the end of the URL it removes these errors

BUT the event save buttons don't work because you have commented out the calendar ID part of the event editing page along with the creator, access level etc.

You should not comment these out you should hide them with CSS since the form validation during the save process uses a couple of these fields

Hello.
But before the update, the buttons worked...

What should I do exactly to make the buttons work? What does this mean: "commented out the calendar ID part of the event editing page along with the creator, access level etc."?

Thank you

With ?tmpl=component
https://www.konferencjemedyczne.info/dodaj-szkolenie-formularz?tmpl=component
the buttons also don't work.

I deleted modules on the site, they still don't work.

Ok.

The buttons are now working. I included "extra fields" and a "display: none" option made them invisible. Thank you.

But I don't know how to fix the errors and why there is such a large "space" at the bottom of the form, separating the form from the rest of the page ..

picasso I'm doing a new release in the next couple of hours which includes this fix for the save buttons in event editing layout editing.

.

sorry, i'm affraid, that there is a missunderstanding.

there is no problem with the save button, the extrafield "categories" appears uncompletely in the event creation layout and my question was, "what happens with already created events, if the above version will be installed"

or fixes the new version the also the issue with the extrafield "category"

3.6.3 should resolve these issues with the extra_info and the sizing of the category selector.

I will be releasing version 3.6.4 later today or tomorrow morning which fixes an issue with JEvents club addons and event filtering so you could wait until that version is released.

Can you reinstate my login credentials and I'll take a look for you - it should be working ok, nothing changed in v. 3.6.5 that should cause any problems like this

Hi-

I am using JEvents 3.6.13. I just tried to add the Extra Info field to my custom Event Edit layout, and it does not show up in in the form, whether in the FE or BE. When I use the standard layout, it appears. I realize I can make a custom field and use that instead, but I thought I would let you know that there is still an issue with this field.

Thanks for highlighting this issue

The field drop down is using EXTRAINFO and EXTRAINFO_LBL where it should be using EXTRA and EXTRA_LBL - if you make this change in your layout the field will work.

I'll fix this for the next release
