This is a stupid question, but is there an area in this extension that allows a user (from the front end) to suggest the addition of an event? I know you can assign access control to restrict the addition of events to certain levels, but what about allowing anyone to submit an event, but have it direct the request to the moderator of the calendar until that person can approve the event?

Is this possible or should I create a form (for instance in RSForms or Fabrik) and have the form shoot the information to the moderator?

If you set the "access level" low and the "publish from frontend" level high - this is what you should get. Notification emails go the the admin user specified in the component config.
