Help!

When I add and Event I am getting an error message [yellow triangle with exclamation mark in bottom left of browser window with '1 Item remaining'] which when I click on it opens a box with the following:

Line: 874
Char: 1
Error: 'catColors' is undefined
Code:0
URL: http://www.hppcc.hydrophilous.com/admin ... index2.php

I have just upgraded to Joomla 1.0.15 (was 1.0.13) and just installed the latest JEvent component, but this has not made any difference.

Now I had better say that this was working on an Windows based server which was unfortunately hacked a few months back. The site was moved to a new Unix server and I hadn't noticed this was not working until a few days ago, so I cannot say if it hasn't worked since we moved to unix...

I am fairly new to all this so any help is very much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Slim

Found it!! It was an image file loaded to the site with a name of "rob's.event.jpg" that was causing the error. As soon as this was corrected all was fine again. :D

Phew!

I've been fighting with a problem that was killing me. I had given an image file in a sub-folder ( \images\stories\holidays ) a name with an apostrophe. The rest of Joomla could deal with it fine, but JEvents wouldn't show the contents of any other folder other than the default image folder. Your post let me to look for a file named a little unusual. Thanks! After weeks of fighting this, uninstalling and reinstalling (many times) JEvents and spending hours and hours looking at all my .php files associated with JEvents, I finally have a solution!

Question: Why would JEvents care if a file has an apostrophe in it, when the rest of Joomla doesn't? This is something that should be fixed.
