Dear there ,
Thanks for the great component / modules you did provide on Joomla Ext site , i did happen to install it successfully and now trying to have it working using Joomlafish (translation) and creating an arabic traslation file for it , I did create already a lang file arabic.php and save it as UTF-8 encoded file, and now when I try to add some arabic text to the calender , but I'm getting ???? signs instead of the proper arabic characters , so there is something needs to be added to the language file ? or else where ? and how do i enable Joomlafish translation on this component ?
I'm currently able to show arabic charchters on my test site so Joomla 1.0.0.13 arabic encoding works fine ...could you please help out ?

test site is <!-- w -->http://www.eisacis.com/cust/ichk<!-- w -->

Thanks,
Eiman

You haven't translated everything yet but what you have translated appears fine in Firefox.

You need to set your locale correctly in Joomfish by using the correct iso code. See http://www.jevents.net/content/view/28/14/lang,en_GB/

Has this issue been resolved yet? I have the same problem, but with Thai instead. For instance, wherever the day of the month is supposed to be written in Thai, I just get ????? instead. I have no problem with the titles and contents, they are translated and displayed fine. It's only when the date is formatted in Thai that the problem occurs.

I have tried setting the site locale in global configuration to th_TH, but it makes no difference.

Joomla 1.0.15, JoomFish 1.8.2, JEvents 1.4.2. I have installed the events.xml in JoomFish.

BTW what is translationPasteventsFilter.php and how do I use it...? Thanks in advance.
