Resolved configuration problem

The install I did on joomla 1.5 in legacy mode showed no errors. When I try to edit the configuration in the component back-end, the browser hangs and the settings aren't saved. admin email remains blank as is several settings. Firefox says the attempted redirect will never happen.

The administrator/components/com_events/events_config.ini.php file is blank. Should this be? I added the adminemail address to the file on my local computer and ftp'd it manually but it had no effect.

The calendar module shows on the page.

Any ideas.

BTW in case it's related, Community Builder profile page does not show any tabs. Maybe I have some joomla settings off a bit?

Please provide version info for everything.

Joomla 1.5 has an issue with routing in the admin interface if there are & in the URL. We may need to revisit this.

I am also having this same issue. I am using Joomla 1.5.0 and JEvents 1.4.2.

JEvents 1.4.2 does not work with Joomla 1.5. Use Jevents 1.4.3RC which works in legacy mode.
