With Joomla1.5.

I have installed Jevents1.5Alpha for the first time and get the main calender appearing in the main window fine, however there is no menu/link option to "add an event" so cannot add any events. Looking at the online demo I should see two link/menus for "add an event" and "my events" immediately below the empty entry. Not sure if I need to do anything specific to make them appear.

Appologies if I have done something wrong in either Jevents or Joomla but am newbie to Joomla/Jevents.

Event calendar is currently empty.

Loaded all files successfully:
com_JEvents1.5alpha.zip
eventssearch1.5alpha.zip
mod_events_cal1.5alpha.zip
mod_events_latest1.5alpha.zip
mod_events_legend1.5alpha.zip
mod_events_switchview1.5alpha.zip

Would appreciate any help/advice.

Thanks
Paul.

Only just spotted similar problem in post by fl3tch3r and response from Thomas. Following that advice:

Frome the Jevents control panel I have tried to add an entry "Manage iCal subscritions", although it did come up with message to say iCS file was created it failed to create the entry in the "Manager iCal subscriptions" list. Came back with error:

"Manage Ical Subscriptions
Table 'joomla15oxfordbluebirds.jos_jevents_icsfile' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT count(*) FROM jos_jevents_icsfile AS icsf
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\wamp\www\JOOMLA15\administrator\components\com_events\lib\icalManagement.php on line 85"

So still not able to add any new entries or see "add an event" link/menu.

Would appreciate advice.

Paul.

No I didn't. Thanks Thomas for the pointer I have now unistalled the Jevents components/parts and re-installed following the instructions given. All works fine now and can see the "add an event" menu options.

After doing the re-installation I thought I still had same problem until remembered to login as admin!

Until this morning I didn't even know how do step1"install as [u:147e9dn0]normal [/u:147e9dn0]joomla...". Steep curve but worth it. Very good stuff.

Thanks
Paul.
