I updated my site to the most recent Joomla version and now my site is blank. I am not using the Jevents plugin, so I wanted to uninstall to insure that it wasn't an outdated plugin causing the error, but the plugin will not uninstall. I enabled the plugin to uninstall, but I get a roundabout error saying the plugin in still disabled. Not so...any ideas?

If you ever get a white screen on your website you should temporarily enable maximum error reporting in the Joomla config - this should then show you a more helpful error message.
