I got it all installed and it works perfect except I get no "add event" buttons anywhere. It's real weird. The only reason I know there is an add event button is because I used the demo.

I'm running Joomla 1.0.15 and the SiteGround template called siteground65. The site is burningcorpse.com. I can't figure it out for the life of me. Can anyone help?

You would generally add events via the backend.

If you want to add events in the frontend you must enable this in the configuration ("Access" and "Publish from frontend" options).

Geraint, can you please explain?

I am running JEvents 1.5A with J! 1.5. I have created two categories, published them.
And now I want to create an event. But I can't any possibility to do so ...

I have thought that an Event may ba called an iCal event, but using that option I cannot create an event either, as I need to supply information about an iCal (or even a "raw" iCal). And I haven't the faintest idea what that could be.

Apparently you haven't had time to work on the help files, because when I click that button my screen ends up completely empty. (One advice: make the Help pages appear in a new browser window; not in the active window, because there is the stuff the user wants help about.)[/color:2942spuk][/size:2942spuk]

But back to the original question: where / how do I create an event?

Goto the control panel of JEvents. Click "Manage iCAL Subsciption" press "New" and create a calendar from scratch.
Now you can add iCAL Events and assign them to a calendar "Select Ical (from raw icals)".

OK... I found the only button I have to add an event. It's good enough I guess. It's on the back end home page in that tab section to the right.

Sorry to waste your time guys.
