  2. Help (Jevents 1.4 for Joomla 1.5.x)
  3. Wednesday, 19 March 2008
I have Joomla 1.5.1 (legacy & SEO links enabled), com_events1.4.3RC, and mod_events_latest_1.4.3rc installed.
I created a weekly event and it displays in the Latest Events module, however when I click on the event, the home page with no calendar displayed.

I have a similar setup on a Joomla 1.0.x and I notice that the links are very different.
In 1.0.x:
http://.../component/option,com_events/ ... /Itemid,1/
In 1.5.1:
http://.../?task=view_detail&agid=1&yea ... &catids=38

Any Ideas?

Be sure to have a menu entry pointing to the JEvents component.[/list:u:110bwtve]

Thomas

Do you think we should add a text warning in latest events and the calendar when there are no menu items pointing to JEvents but SEO is enabled? Its really a Joomla problem but we will get this question asked lots more times?

Thanks Thomas, that fixed it!
I just created a link in a "hidden" menu since I will not have a direct link to the calendar.
