Currently, the only way I can add an event is if I'm logged in as an administrator and I click the "Events" link in the "Components" tab on the back end home page. So if I create another user who is a back end manager that "components" tab no longer exists therefor teh "events" link is inaccessible. Is there a way I can add a link in the back end for a back end manager to be able to add events?
Essentially, I'm trying to simplify the back end for the person I'm building the site for. I don't want them to have to log in as an administrator to add events and I don't want (nor do I have) any front end editing capabilities because there is only two of us who will be adding content.
