Hi
I have a client who manages a club which stages running events. They are looking for a way to allow people to register for specific categories for specific events. I know that can be done with JEvents. I also know that the registered groups can be shown as a list, and that they can be charged an entrance fee.

Question: How can I work on providing a results list afterwards? I'm thinking I need another component such as
this and this.

What's your view?

The results of the competition, such as the registered Full Names, Entry ID, Category and items which have to be added in a separate form such as time taken and position i.e. first, second, etc., the time difference from the winner and in some cases, the club name, and the birth year of the participants. I've included a couple of screen prints to show this.

Can, in fact a form be created with all the relevant fields, but in which some the data is entered manually after registration by the designated administrators in the backend? That would be fantastic!

Hello,

Ok.. so how about this? You set the fields in that template to a higher access level say super users originally. Then when the match has finished your change the fields to public and input the data?

Or.....

You leave them as is, and apply a class to them. So on input you can hide them by default with some CSS. Then on the backend you can input the data whenever.
