Hi!

I am currently using Matukio for my events, however I am looking now into JEvents.

One feature I use is the ability to award certificates to the people who attended an event as these certificates are used for proof of continuing education. Is a similar feature also available in JEvents?

I am also wondering if it is possible in JEvents to print a "signature list" of people where there names are printed in alphabetical order and then a box next to their name where they can physically sign when they arrive to the event, to proof the have checked in.

Thanks!

Hello,

Welcome to JEvents!

1. This is not something we had built in yet. How does your current system work? Is the certificate auto generated or manually uploaded as a file? Where do they see the certificate?

2.You could use the attendeelist with a few customisations. Or you could ask them to bring their ticket in and scan it to confirm they attended.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the reply. The event owner/administrator can either award certificates in the front or back-end by pressing a button. The certificate is generated using a template that is pre-set in the back-end settings. Users can then download this certificate as a pdf when they go into the events they are registered for, after the certificates have been awarded.

Due to legal requirements, our attendees need to sign a signature list. With our current system (Matukio) we can generate a signature list with one press of a button.

I guess if these two features are not available in JEvents at this moment, that I would sadly have to look for another solution, as otherwise it seems like a good alternative for Matukio.

Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in responding - the forum notification system didn't work as it should and I didn't see this post.

You can upload files to your events that are only visible to attendees and be made only available to those who have actually attended - could this act as your certificate?

You can export all your attendees to a spreadsheet which could be formatted as you want to print or we could help you, in the support forum, to create a template override for the list of attendees which would generate your signature list.
