hello,

Sometimes, in French version, some words are not translated ...

When an registred user, defined as author, selected menu item to create a new event - by front end -, 3 buttons are displayed at top of page :
[list:br1e4mmq]* "Enregistrer"
* "Apply"
* Annuler"[/list:u:br1e4mmq]

I don't find Apply word in french language files located in these directories : <!-- s:x --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mad.gif" alt=":x" title="Mad" /><!-- s:x -->
[list:br1e4mmq]* administrator/language/fr-FR
*language/fr-FR[/list:u:br1e4mmq]

This button "Apply" is not displayed in all versions on this site :
- for "on line" version, this button is displayed <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->
- for "test" version on my PC, this button is hidden

Main differences between these two versions are programms versions (php, ....)

Can you explain difference ? ;)

How to translate Apply button ? Should you forget to introduce in administrator\language\fr-FR_fr-FR.com_jevents.ini a sentence as APPY = "Appliquer" , line 364 ?

Thanks !

Regards

Didier - (French translation team)

Hello,

These buttons are the standard Joomla! buttons with the standard Joomla! translation.

If they are not being translated I suspect your normal Joomla! buttons are not being translated either?

If you enable Language Debugging in the Joomla! config you should be able to see the one not translated.

Thanks
Tony

I've have some question to manage events by front end, :

Why is "APPLY" button displayed only on some versions ? Is it a new feature ? Where could I find release notes about your products ?

I'm looking for Apply button ...

Hello,

The apply button will only show on events already created.

This is a standard Joomla! Toolbar button. No necessarily related to JEvents, it basically saves the event without going of the event edit page. But cannot be used on new events as we need to create event.

Thanks

2) another version on remote site (on line site)

PHP Version : 5.4.23-1~dotdeb.1
MySQL Version : 5.5.34-MariaDB-1~wheezy
Joomla : 3.2.1
component_com_jevents : 3.1.14
component_com_jce : 2.3.4.4
module_mod_jevents_cal : 3.1.14
module_mod_jevents_custom : 3.1.14
module_mod_jevents_filter : 3.1.14
module_mod_jevents_latest : 3.1.14
module_mod_jevents_legend : 3.1.14
module_mod_jevents_switchview : 3.1.14
plugin_finder_jevents : 3.1.14
plugin_search_eventsearch : 3.1.14

On 1st site (local site Joomla 3.2) everything seems ok

On the other site (remote site Joomla 3.21), I have some problems with Apply button
- it appears when I create a new event

What's your opinion ?

Thanks

Hello Didier,

The Apply button should actually always appear after re-testing. We implemented it for new events a little while ago and it slipped my mind.

So the Apply button allows saving the event but staying on the same page.

If you have problems with Translation, did you install all translation packs correctly?

Thanks
Tony
